This volumes aims to describe the birth and evolution of the Earth and Space sciences, to reveal the complex connection between them as well as with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Technology and Computer Science, and to provide a description and definition of the main phenomena that influence the progress not only of the Earth but of the whole Universe in general.
